Adoption Program

Defensores de Animales seeks to find suitable homes for all animals that come in contact with us. This means stray, unwanted and abandoned animals. The stray situation in Puerto Rico is overwhelming, and we do as much as we can to alleviate it. We rescue stray cats and dogs, give them medical care, spay/neuter them, and find them permanent, caring, responsible, and committed homes that will give the animals the love, respect, and quality of life they deserve. Since its founding, Defensores de Animales have found homes for more than 1,500 animals.
